DESCRIPTION

Antique late-19th Century Chinese export solid silver cased novelty condiment set, featuring a pepper modelled as a water buffalo, a farm house shaped mustard pot with spoon, troth salt with spoon and a figure of a farmer. All fixed to a hand chiseled base imitating ground and water, standing on four wheels to be passed round the table. The set features very high craftsmanship and reveals a perfect condition, it comes in the original fitted wooden box lined in blue silk and applied with brass handle. The set is unmarked, but tested(900+ standard), Maker unknown.
