Antique late-18th Century Swiss magnificent three-coloured 18k gold snuff box, of oval form, the lid chased in coloured golds with a scene of a dog running away from birds over a basket of flowers, decorated with fine floral scrollwork and pellets on a concentric engine-turned ground, within chased coloured raised foliate borders, incuse maker's mark only VM (unknown).
