DESCRIPTION

Antique 18th Century Magnificent French 18k two-colour gold large sealing wax case, of traditional tapering oval form, made of two removable parts, decorated with engine-turned design within laurel leaf and beaded boarders. Hallmarked with French 18k gold guarantee marks, (acid test shows 750 standard), Paris, circa 1780.
