Great group of one of the horses of Marly, it is the one on the right. One of the wild horses and its stable boy, the original is made in Carrara marble and it is kept in the Louvre Museum. They are one of the greatest exponents of the end of the Baroque, giving the scene an expression of exaggerated fury both on the face of the horse and on the shepherd who leads it.They were commissioned by Louis XV of France to decorate the entrance of the Chateau of Marly ParkThis edition was made around 1900 and is marked with the No. 1 in Roman numerals. We must highlight that in this edition both the muscles and veins of this horse at full tension can be appreciated.Dark brown bronze patina, almost black medio-mate tinted in green.Measures 54 x 54 x 22 cm Weight: 14.2 kg
