The original version is permanently exhibited in the Musée d'Orsay in Paris. The offered figure is made of heavy bronze with the gown covering the entire posterior part and is held together by a scarab. This artwork has also been reproduced in different versions and realized in various media including ivory and alabaster. This large and heavy bronze measures 57 cm in height and weighs a full 14,9 kg in weight.
