### **A pair of Imari porcelain figures of ladies**


**1700-1720, Japan**

**Height: 46 cm, 18.1 inches**

The ladies are standing wearing kimonos that are strikingly decorated with a design of the three friends in under glaze blue, iron red, salmon pink and gilding, the hair is tied up into a bunch at the back of the head and held in place with a large fan shaped hair pin. The modelling and decoration of this pair is of the highest quality.
