### **A large blue and white Arita porcelain charger**


**1660-1680, Japan**

**Diameter: 53.5cm, 21.1 inches**

The centre painted with a vase containing a display of Camellia flowers in an outdoor setting, the broad flat rim decorated with eight panels containing four repeating designs divided by ornamental tassels. The reverse painted with a scrolling band, the base with spur marks.
